The Strands Hotel have just Launched and addition to the Hotel - 

Our Own  Micro brewery on the premises.

The brewery was completed Feb 2007 and has started shortly after, brewing only for the hotel.

Two ales are currently being brewed by Mark…

The first a Light Hoppy amber Bitter at 3.8% Called “Errmmm…” (we could not decide on a name for it and all the family sat around saying Errmm… what can we call it).

Now the name seems to have stuck and the beer has been well received by all.

The second one was a Dark Smooth Porter Style Ale at 5.0% called “T’ Errmmm-inator” the name was arrived at after three weeks and up to a hundred suggestions for the new name from customers
